During their visits to New Haven, the candidates will participate in various meetings and events with faculty, students, staff, and community stakeholders.
"We are extremely pleased with the caliber of the three final candidates whom we have selected," said CSCU President Mark E. Ojakian. "They have built a strong record of achievement and, if selected, are capable of continuing the great work of their predecessors."
President Ojakian announced the national search in February 2016. The search is conducted by the Regents Search Committee with the invaluable assistance of the University Advisory Committee.
Following the finalists' visits, the University Advisory Committee will provide their unranked feedback to the Regents Search Committee. The Regents Search Committee will then make their final selection, subject to ratification by the full Board of Regents in July.
