The Office of Information Technology (OIT) of the Board of Regents facilitates collaboration and coordination of information technology activities among CSCU institutions. OIT provides a consistent and coherent interface to the State and other external constituencies with regard to CSCU information technology policies and services. It supports the Regents and CSCU leadership in providing strategic recommendations in areas that involve information technology.
In addition to maintaining information systems and technologies that support the day-to-day operation at the system office, OIT also hosts an array of enterprise services that are shared by member institutions, oversees the implementation of information security across CSCU and manages all IT related contracts and licenses.
The Office is led by the Chief Information Officer. The CIO's portfolio includes IT strategic planning, governance, policies, portfolio and project management, government and partner relations, contract and vendor management, and system-wide initiatives to advance the Board's vision and support the missions of the colleges and universities.
