Chairman of the Board of Regents for Higher Education, Lewis J. Robinson, and Interim President, Philip E. Austin, released the following joint statement regarding Three Rivers Community College President Grace Sawyer Jones’ decision to retire in June of this year.

“Grace Sawyer Jones is a public servant, an educator, a scholar, and a leader at Three Rivers Community College, and indeed, throughout the region. Her decision to retire in June is a loss for the campus, and for our system, but the work she has done to lead Three Rivers Community College over the last 12 years will continue long after her departure. On behalf of the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities system, and the Board of Regents for Higher Education, we wish her nothing but the best as she moves on and pursues new interests and challenges, and sincerely thank her for her time, service, and leadership.”
